Unlimited sub-accounts come with every plan, each with its own copy of the plan's limits, per the same page.
The limit most people miss: lifetime sales
Systeme.io's help center states that free accounts have a lifetime sales revenue limit of $10,000. A warning banner appears at $8,000; at $10,000 your payment pages stop accepting new sales until you upgrade to a paid plan. Affiliate commissions you earn are not counted. In practice this makes the free plan a launch pad: it is enough to prove a funnel works, and when it starts selling well, the upgrade pays for itself.
Setting up your first funnel, step by step
- Create the account and verify your email.
- Add your sender details and physical address for email footers, which CAN-SPAM requires on marketing email.
- Connect a payment processor (Stripe or PayPal are listed among the integrations) if the funnel sells anything.
- Create a funnel and choose the goal; Systeme.io offers templates for opt-in, sales and webinar funnels.
- Edit the pages in the drag-and-drop editor: opt-in, thank-you, and sales and checkout if you sell.
- Create the email sequence and the automation that tags new contacts and starts it.

- Test with a private browser window and a real purchase you refund.
Spending your three funnels wisely
- Funnel 1: your main lead magnet funnel.
- Funnel 2: your sales funnel (tripwire or course).
- Funnel 3: keep one spare for a webinar or test. Delete or merge tests you are not using.

Annual billing is offered with "2 months free", per the pricing page. If you cancel a paid plan, Systeme.io says the account keeps the plan until the next billing date and then reverts to free.
Honest trade-offs
- It is one platform. If you outgrow it or it changes, moving funnels, emails and courses elsewhere takes work.
- The free plan's automation and campaign counts are small, so plan simple sequences.
- Design control is good for funnels but not as open as hand-coding a site.
